Ready to Adopt - Forms/Applications (on left)

All Mutts Matter Foundation (AMMF) is an all -volunteer, non-profit rescue and we feel that each and every dog matters. We wish we could take every dog in need but we cannot because AMMF does not have a shelter.  We are made up of private foster homes and can only take in as many dogs as we have foster homes.  A large part of our rescue is to help rehome older dogs that come to AMMF as a result of their parent's death, illness, relocation, or deployment.  We receive several phone calls a day from people asking for help to rehome their dog.

When you adopt a dog from AMMF, he/she will be current(as shot schedule permits) on all shots, on heartworm medication, flea/tick preventatives, wormed, microchipped, and if age and size allow spayed or neutered.  We also temperament test each dog to insure that the dog is adoptable.

We require an adoption application to be filled out, which is found under the 'Adoption Info' tab on the left.   Once we review your application and speak with your references and your vet reference, Please keep in mind all dogs and cats in your home must have a rabies vaccination. We will contact you to schedule a visit at your home. We require at the home visit, everyone to be present who lives in your home including all pets, so that we can make sure that the pet being adopted is a perfect match for your entire family.

Adoption Fees :

Our adoption fees can range from $1- $400 depending on age of dog, vetting that has been done, and whether or not the dog has been sponsored.

If you are not ready to adopt a pet, you may want to consider fostering.   Many times, the foster family falls madly in love with their foster pet and we allow them to adopt the pet.  Some folks call this a foster failure... we say that its meant to be.   smiley

If for any reason you are unable to keep the pet you have adopted from AMMF, he/she must be returned to AMMF (no exceptions).
