Update:  Jasmine, or as some call her, Jazzy, attended her first adoption event and she was such a good girl and was very friendly with people of all ages and other dogs.  Jazzy is crate trained, almost completely house trained and is playful and fun but also knows when to tone it down and snuggle.

Hi there, my name is Jasmine and my brother Lucky and I just arrived from Kentucky.  Let me tell you a little about myself.  I am a Collie/Australian Shepherd mix and I'm about 5 months old,   I like to play and have fun, I'm a little timid until I get to know you and I'm super sweet and gentle.  I went on a walk today, saw a cat and I whimpered a little but did't even try to chase the kitty. I'm also spayed and have all of my shots. 1. The application will be processed, evaluated and we will contact the vet and personal references;

2. All other applications that have been submitted on Jasmine will also be processed (best suited applicant is chosen, not first come first serve);

3. Schedule a home visit; and

4. Adoption is finalized when the best-fitting home is found for Jasmine. If you have young children or other pets and everyone gets along, Jasmine will be able to stay at your home and do a foster to adopt for about a two-week trial period. If all is going well after the trial period, the adoption will then be finalized. Our adoption fee for Jasmine is $325.00.
