Hello my friends! Harley here and I am pleased to meet you. If you are reading this then you must be looking for the best puppy, but don't tell Diesel (who is also with All Mutts Matter) that I said that. LOL My Mom Ginger and I were saved by Miss Tonya in Kentucky and we will be arriving in Delaware on June 6. I am only 8 weeks old, so I will not be neutered before I am adopted and when I am adopted, my new family will need to agree to signing a spay/neuter contract, which means that when I am old enough to be neutered, my new family will get that done for me. Its actually the law in Delaware for me to be neutered. A $100 deposit is required and then when proof of my neuter is provided to AMMF, the $100 will be returned. I will be micro chipped and have all of my age appropriate vaccines. I am super cute, very active and will probably only grow to be about 20-25 lbs. Because I am a puppy, I will require to be let out to potty every couple of hours or even more. Therefore, I cannot go to a home where no one will be home for long periods of time. When I am in my foster home for a few days, we will update you more about me. If you are interested in adopting me, please go to www.allmuttsmatter.org and fill out an adoption application located at the 'Adoption Info' tab on the left. Our application process is below:
1. The application will be processed, evaluated and we will contact the vet and personal references;
2. All other applications that have been submitted on Harley will also be processed (best suited applicant is chosen, not first come first serve);
3. Schedule a home visit; and
4. Adoption is finalized when the best-fitting home is found for me. If you have young children or other pets and everyone gets along, Harley will be able to stay at your home and do a foster to adopt for about a two-week trial period. If all is going well after the trial period, the adoption will then be finalized. Our adoption fee for Harley is $325.00.
