Update: Milo is now fully house and crate trained. He's truly an all-around good boy. He rides great in the car and gets along with dogs of all sizes. Milo adapts easily and quickly to his new home and bonds fast with his new people.
Update: Milo has been in his foster home for just over a week and he is doing very well. He has also been neutered, microchipped and teeth cleaned and looking all pearly white. Milo pays no attention to cats, is doing well being in a crate for a few hours while his foster mom goes to work and is learning his house manners. He's a pretty smart boy and catches on quickly to the feeding and potty routines and gets along with all dogs he meets, both big and small. Milo is good with children too. A very friendly boy who would make a terrific addition to any family.
Hi Everyone! My name is Milo and I'm a typical happy go-lucky Beagle boy. Somehow I wound up in what they call a high kill shelter along with my sister and had very little time left there. My sister was adopted and I was so sad to see her go but happy she found a family to love and cherish her. Well, it wasn't long after that I found out that my friend at the shelter named Tonya had contacted All Mutts Matter (AMMF) and asked if they could find me a family of my own and thank goodness, AMMF said yes. Shelter life is not so happy and can be scary and stressful. I get along with other dogs and love people. I'm about 5 years young, up-to-date on my shots and I am scheduled to be neutered and microchipped next week. I will be arriving to AMMF on June 6 and after a few days of being in my foster home, I will be able to tell you more about me. Please consider adopting me and I promise to be a good boy. Hugz, Milo. Our adoption process is below:
1. The application will be processed, evaluated and we will contact the vet and personal references;
2. All other applications that have been submitted for Milo will also be processed (best suited applicant is chosen, not first come first serve);
3. Schedule a home visit; and
4. Adoption is finalized when the best-fitting home is found for Milo. If you have young children or other pets and everyone gets along, Milo will be able to stay at your home and do a foster to adopt for about a two-week trial period. If all is going well after the trial period, the adoption will then be finalized. Our adoption fee for Milo is $295.
