Update:
Chief is a really sweet boy he is
Chief is 8 years young. His current mom can no longer take care of him and she's asked us to help find him a home. Chief is in foster care waiting for his forever home. He loves to ride in the car and watch out the window. He is good with most small dogs, likes to play with toys and go for walks. Chief is a little cautious when he first meets you but warms up quickly. He has been around children ranging from infants to school age and he could stand to lose a few pounds, which might help him with climbing steps because he currently needs to be carried up and down them. Chief is up to date on his shots and neutered and he would do best in a home without large dogs or cats and he prefers small dogs. If Chief seems like the kind of dog you would like to hang out with, please let All Mutts Matter know by filling out an application at www.allmuttsmatter.org and once the rescue gets your application, below is the process:
1. The application will be processed, evaluated and we will contact the vet and personal references;
2. All other applications that have been submitted on me will also be processed (best suited applicant is chosen, not first come first serve);
3. Schedule a home visit; and
4. Adoption is finalized when the best-fitting home is found. If you have young children or other pets and everyone gets along, we will leave the new dog at your home and do a foster to adopt for about a two-week trial period. If all is going well after the trial period, the adoption will then be finalized. Our adoption fee for Chief is $150.00.
