MONA update!  I've had Mona for about a week now and she is truly a lap dog love bug.  She gets along with all my other dogs, and is very submissive.  She is crate trained and house trained and loves to be wrapped in a blanket on your lap.  I have been feeding her soft food (not kibble) but she really likes soft treats, too.  This is an excellent dog for someone in a condo or someone who would like a lower energy dog.  Is that you?

My name is Mona and I'm a sweet and fun loving girl looking for a second chance.   People in my past did not treat me well but I don't let that get me down and I'm ready to start a happier, new chapter in my life.  I love to be with people and I'm good with dogs and even cats.  I love riding in the car, hanging out in my crate and I'm housetrained.  I have my shots, I'm heartworm negative and I'm spayed. Application Process:

1. The application will be processed, evaluated and we will contact the vet and personal references;
2.  All other applications that have been submitted on me will also be processed (best suited applicant is chosen, not first come first serve);
3. Schedule a home visit; and
4. Adoption finalized when the best-fitting home is found. If you have young children or other pets and everyone gets along, we will leave the new dog at your home and do a foster to adopt for about a two-week trial period.  If all is going well after the trial period, the adoption will then be finalized.  Our adoption fee is $295.00.
