Hi my name is Pixie and I am looking for my forever home. I have been with these wonderful people at AMMF for two years now, and would love to find my perfect family. I gave my foster a scare last year and was very sick. The kind doctor that took care of me diagnosed me with an immune disorder. He started me on Prednisone and that sure did make me feel so much better. I have been doing great since then, and will need this for the rest of my life. As soon as people find out that I have to take medicine and that there is no guarantee on how long my life will be or how long until I have another issue, they continue their search for a new family member. Seriously humans? I just don't get it, that you have to hold that against me. I mean, there are no guarantees with even the healthiest of dogs. I am really hoping that my special family will come soon that will love me and give me the life I deserve for whatever time that I have left.
