Oh Lucy!   This is one tough little girl.  You see, Miss Lucy was found in rural WV, stashed away in an outside cage with very little interaction with people.  Her owner didn't want her or her 4 brothers anymore because they wouldn't hunt.  These poor kids were discarded away as if they didn't matter.  Well, some kind ladies caught wind of what was going on and they sprang into action.  They pulled all of these darling little Beagles out of their dirty, cold and meager existence and brought them to a vet office to be examined and cared for.  A Beagle rescue in PA is taking 3 of Lucy's brothers and All Mutts Matter is taking in Lucy and one of her other brothers.  A HUGE Thanks to BREW for taking in the three boyz.  We know they will get the rehabilitation and love needed so that they can be adopted to loving homes.   This is what we are going to do too for Lucy and her brother.  Lucy is approximately 3 years old, shy and learning to live in a house.  She's crate trained and working on her potty training.  She will be coming north within a week or so.  If you would like to have Lucy join your family, please go to www.allmuttsmatter.org  and fill out an application.   Thanks so much for reading about Miss Lucy and we hope to hear from you soon.
