Update:  Hi Again.  I went to my first adoption event last Saturday and I had a really great time meeting people of all ages and dogs of all sizes.  I then had a play date with my new friend CiCi, a 5 year old female black lab mix and we had so much fun play bowing, chasing each other and sharing treats.  I loved being able to run around her backyard.

Well, Hello!  So glad you have stopped to check me out and that you are thinking about adopting a dog.  I'd love to tell you a little about myself.  My story is like so many that have come before me and that's why I'm now looking for a foster or adoptive family.  You see, my prior family came upon some hard times, including losing their home and me and my siblings (Sasha, Hershey and Shelby) wound up living outside in the rain, cold, heat, wind and snow.  We were so sad and lonely.  The family asked for help and All Mutts Matter came to the rescue... literally.  My name is Hunter and I am 5 years old, super handsome and very smart.  I'm a cross between a German Shepherd and a Rottweiler.  I listen very well and I'm eager to please and learn.  I'm currently with a professional trainer in NJ being assessed and evaluated so that the proper home can be found for me.  I'd like to live with a family that has experience with dogs of my nature and be treated like one of the family.  Sasha went to her new home today, I miss her but I'm happy that she has a new family to love her.  I enjoy riding in the car, giving kisses, taking walks and snuggling.  I am partially housetrained and well on my way to becoming fully trained.  I'm also neutered, micro chipped, fully vaccinated and wormed.  Don't I sound like the guy for you?  If so, please go to www.allmuttsmatter.org and fill out an application (located under the 'Adoption Info' tab) to either foster or adopt me.  Thanks again for looking to adopt a dog and I really hope to hear from you soon.  Woof!!  Hunter.
