Bailey attended her first adoption event and she was a superstar. She's so personable and friendly with people of all ages and other dogs. Likes to give kisses on your chin.  Bailey truly enjoys being in the yard where she can sniff, run and play.  So, a fenced in yard is a must for this girl.

Hi, my name is Bailey. I'm a super sweet and fun-loving girl and I'm told that I have all of the wonderful Beagle and Bassett traits that are just so likable. I'm compact like a Beagle and can be very laid back like a Bassett.  My nose is super powerful and I love to sniff everything and make the cutest noises when I'm sniffing. I was found as a stray in a desolate area near some railroad tracks by a kind teenage boy on a very cold night and he took me home and tried to find my family but no one came looking for me.  This made me sad because I know I'm so loving and have so many good qualities. I am spayed, have all my shots, healthy, crate and house trained and ride great in the car but no cats for me. Oh yeah, I like other dogs and I'm really cute too.  So, if I sound like the kind of girl for you, please fill out an adoption application at www.allmuttsmatter.org and its located in the forms section under the 'Adoption Info' tab on the left.  Thanks for reading my story and I hope to hear from you soon. 1. The application will be processed, evaluated and we will contact the vet and personal references;

2. All other applications that have been submitted on me will also be processed (best suited applicant is chosen, not first come first serve);

3. Schedule a home visit; and

4. Adoption is finalized when the best-fitting home is found for me. If you have young children or other pets and everyone gets along, I will be able to stay at your home and do a foster to adopt for about a two-week trial period. If all is going well after the trial period, the adoption will then be finalized. Our adoption fee for Bailey is $295.
