Hi my name is Dixie and I am looking for my forever home. My previous owner was going to shoot me, but a kind gentleman saved me and took me home. I now call him my foster dad. I am a sweet girl who is learning what it is like to live in the house, have plenty of food and treats, be loved by other dogs, cats, humans and especially the littlest human. She is so fun! I love her so, and am loyal to her wherever her adventures take us. However, I am still learning how to be gentle while taking treats or food from her hands. Her stuffed animals are fun to chew too, but my foster mom is teaching me how my toys are safer for me. I am still very much a puppy and am chewing a lot. Since I am part Aussie and we do like to herd, I am nipping my little human. My foster mom is helping me with this. I am a very active girl who needs a fenced in yard to play in, I do have a lot of energy to run off.  We are also working on house and crate training. I am fully vetted now, and ready for my forever home!
